Using Farming cooperatives for villagers to grow their income, provide dignity and sustainability

Every village in rural Ghana has land and allocate that land to their families to farm.  With primitive tools they are not able to create a wage that will provide daily meals, clean water, health care, and an opportunity for education for their children.

The villagers have the land, Operation Dignity International can be their help for resources, but YOU have the opportunity to be the hero and make significant change. For these villagers, increasing the acres they farm can create an earned wage to provide for their family needs.

HELP BREAK THE CYCLE OF POVERTY FOR THE CHILDREN IN GHANA

  • Primitive farming methods limit a farmer to work 1/2 to 1 acre of land for one harvest a year.
  • Wife spends much of her day hauling water and helping on the farm.
  • Children must help on the farm to accomplish the work needed to survive preventing them from attending school.
  • Lack of proper nutrition and healthcare leads to vulnerability, illness, and disease.
  • As the children grow, their only option is to farm in the same way their father did,
